These days there is the news coming in that Taliban has taken control of SWAT areas in Pakistan. The talibans are now asking all the girls to quit schools and colleges. We have seen what Taliban did in Afghanistan. While it constructed Hell on earth the world just watched by until it has caused enough damage to the world. Do you think the world should just let Taliban gain control or they should be disbanded once again?

Canada is helping by sending troops to Afghanistan. We have already lost over one hundred soldiers to the cause. The Taliban is alienating its own people by its cruel and inhumane actions. No nation will support such an organization for any extended period. The Taliban will soon lose favor with the people, and be replaced by a democratic and people friendly Government.

Thanks for the comment. I think the Taliban that was dethroned deserved what they got. And even now I hope they won't be allowed to succeed.

headhunter525,
Pakistan, will need to clean their own backyard here. I think we have enough incidents to prove that they are very lax with their control over extremist groups. So much so that they are seen to be in cohorts with these terrorist cells.
All of us are aware just how these Taliban factions had done to Afghanistan and if Pakistan still choose to bat an eyelid on them, then they are just asking for more trouble. I do not think the world can interfere and "meddle" assist in their domestic affairs when they do not want to even lift a finger in the first place.
Then when all hell breaks loose, Pakistan will then appear like another ignorant comical clown and blatantly denying the very existence and support for such extremist groups, when we can see it so clearly.
It is just a joke to them at the end of the day.

The extremists have murdered their former prime minister, and I just can't understand why they are laid back about dealing with these extremists. Yes unless they try to clean their own backyard the rest of the world can't do much. But I think we can persuade our respective governments to persuade the Pakistan govt to act. may be that's the only thing we can do. Thanks for the comment. Rated!

headhunter525,
Frankly speaking, there's an old adage that says: Nobody likes to be told how to do their job, and I can sense that this is exactly what is happening on the political satire. If you had seen and heard from the media, how these Al Queda, Mujahideen, Taliban and other terrorists cells have openly declared their acts and existence and findings will trace them to be hiding in some obscure parts of Pakistan. But what did the authorities do? You can just marvel at their blatant denial of such findings themselves! I am sure the rest of the world are concerned and have tried through diplomatic means to try and resolve this issue. However, the authorities and the country will have to accept the facts first. It is to this day, the authorities entrusted have not done their job and have been disappointing till this day.
I felt that the UN should have a much more firm stance dealing with Pakistan and pressure them to start the clean up with economic sanctions, trade and finance restrictions. Failing which then more sever actions be taken to disband these useless officials in government and have an international intervention. That I believe would on one hand avoid a violent confrontation and save the innocent citizens from suffering further loss of lives. Most of all, a justification for those who have lost their lives in these horrible acts committed by these extremist groups.
Regards.
