What did yo do with your first salary?

I was looing into my budget and deciding where to "cut" to save some, when I remembered the first time I had my first salary.
For my first salary, I treated my family to dinner.

i earned RS 3000 1st time its approx $45 now after one year i am earning Rs 22000 which is approx $315 per month. Since i am with my parents i used to give them and let some of mone with me.

I gave some money to my parents to cover some bills in the house as well. It is such a good feeling to know that you could help out even in a small way.

well i was living on my own when i was in high school so i had to be on welfare. the second i graduated i had to get a job to survive and get off welfare. so my first paycheck went towards rent and groceries. not too exciting but you have to do what you have to do

Yeah, you have to do what you have to do. At least you know that you could stand on your own already.
