When was the last time you bought yourself an outfit?

I realized yesterday that all my clothing was given to me or from a thrift store. Also my undergarments were not in great shape. So today I "treated" myself to a new outfit. We went to Walmart and I got a t-shirt that was discounted to $7 and pants that were $15. Also a pack on undies and a bra that was in a box (good ones cost the most). All together I spent about $50CAN with tax and oh new lipstick HEHE. This is the first time in years I bought this much for myself that was new. I was feeling guilty, but I was walking around the house today feeling pretty and stuff. Which during this winter slump, I kinda needed.

Well, I did not by myself any outfit since last christmas my wife bought me 3 pair of jeans, polo shirts, sock and underwear. She noticed that what I have were somewhat good already. So she decided to buy me some.

Awe that was nice of her. I did get three pairs of PJS for christmas this year. Nice but I don't wear them outside like a teenager. LOL

I don't even know. I usually buy a shirt or 2 here, a pair of pants there. All my clothes are from Wal-Mart. Even the red bathing suit that I'm wearing in my avatar is from there. LOL The last piece of clothing I bought for myself as of late are my shoes. The darn things cost $35 and I ended up getting a second pair a few days later. I didn't really want to, but I had been wanting this particular style as I had a couple of pairs in the past and I loved 'em, but I could never find them. My husband pointed out that they may sell them out and I wouldn't be able to get another pair again until who knows when. I didn't want that happening again so I spent a total of $70 on a couple pairs of shoes for myself. And yes, I felt very guilty doing this, but at least it's done and I don't have to worry about getting shoes for a while.

Shoes I think are different because they are so important. We can allow to splurge on them. I have nice walking shoes because I walk and stand at work and go for walks after supper. I used to have cheap shoes that lasted only a month or so, but I get the Doctor Schols ones at walmart and they last me a few years and only then start to look a bit grungy. Worth it to spend the money there. Good for you!

oh just a couple of weeks ago I went to this shopping centre and saw a nice skirt in a sort of material with a bit of sparkle in it, I love sparkle, so i tried it on and it was a nice soft material that fell very nicely, I don't often wear skirts much these days as i just can't get them to fit nice where they are supposed to fit, so I decided to buy it but i couldn't make up my mind on the black or the silver/grey so naughty me bought both as i thought they fitted so well it was best to buy them while they were available and now I just need somewhere a little more dressy so to speak to wear them...

HEHE I know the feeling about where to wear them. I saw a nice top but a bit too fancy for everyday mom wear so I passed on it though it was a very nice fit.
