According to a website called toothbrush express, toothbrush should be replaced at least every three months, when bristles begin to show wear and after an illness such as a cold or flu. It is because worn and fractured bristles are a breeding ground for germs, fungus and bacteria. Also, these worn toothbrushes can damage gum tissue. As for me, my toothbrush has a colored bristle. It serves as an indicator, so when the color of the tip of the bristle starts to fade and then it is time to replace it. How about you? How often do you replace tour toothbrush?

I probably stick with the three month plan. I don't feel like my teeth and gums are getting clean, if the brush gets too old. I really like the gently stiffness of the new brush. Good idea to change it every three months and Yes change it after a bacterial infection or at lease try to sterilize it in some very hot water.
