I used to wear contact lenses but because my eyes can't seem to take it now, I don't anymore. But, I still prefer contact lenses because after you put it in, that's it. The next time you have to worry about it is before going to sleep. Though it's a lot of work because you need to clean it and other things you need to do it to make it last long and for it to be safe when you wear it, but I still prefer it to eyeglasses.

That's what I don't like about contact lenses. You have a lot to worry about- cleaning it, taking it ou before you sleep etc.

Both have their pros and cons. Eyeglasses are cheaper than contacts, and convient, but you have to clean them alot, and constantly adjust them, or tighten screws, and pop lenses back in. Contacts are more comfortable, don't need to constantly clean them while they are in your eyes, don't need to adjust them , or worry about loose parts, but they cost more, they take time to put in, or take out, can come out, and be lost easily. I prefer contacts though. I just never liked the look of glasses.

I prefer eyeglasses myself. I was told I could get bifocals and this year, I plan to do that and leave it at that. Perhaps later on if my life get a bit hectic, I'll get contacts. but for now, that is it.

Wearing eyeglasses is convenient, that's why I prefer it. And for most who responded here, it is their choice as well.

Its eyeglasses for me. I don't like contact lenses. My eyes are very very sensitive. The only time I wore contact lense was on my wedding day. But the during the night dinner with family members during the wedding day, I also change to eyeglasses already. I dono but my eyes are just super sensitive and they will just start to water and turn red if there's any foreign stuff that comes in contact with my eyeballs. I cant use eyeliner as well. Too near to my eyes. Eye shadow for a few hours can but no more than 3 hours. after that eyes get watery. So it's eyeglasses for me .

Your eyes are really to sensitive. I think you're better off with eyeglasses since it helps keep foreign objects away from your eyes as well.

I'm one of the lucky ones, who don't need either. I used need them a few years ago. However, I don't need them anymore. So, I don't wear either.

I have needed glasses for the last five years or so and I've never even looked into getting contacts. I just can't stomach touching my eyes! I like wearing glasses, I think they suit my face and they make puffy eyes & dark circles look less noticeable. I don't play any sports or that sort of thing so I have no problems with wearing glasses full time.

You're right. Eyeglasses are less of a hassle. Just put it on and you're ready to go.

I use contact nearly 7 years~And the eyeglasses 6 years! I think both of them are important for me, contact can't wear over 10hours a day,It's not very convenient for a long time, but the glasses is afraid the weather and impact~ So I choose the right at the right time!!

I prefer contacts. I can see much better out of my contacts. I have really bad eyesight so contacts correct my vision better than glasses can. I wear the extended wear so they are not really that inconvenient for me.

For me, it all depends, I like my contacts when i am going out, but prefer my glasses, at home.. Most of the time it just depends on my laziness, do i feel like poking myself in the eye ten times before I get my contacts in, or just shove my glasses on my face!!!

That's what makes me choose eyeglasses over contacts.....I just don't have the patience to poke myself in the eye several times! lol
