Love or arranged Marriage ? Which one is good for a healthy life?

Hello mailtoramesh! This is such a very simple question. Who wouldn't want to get married without love. People used to get married because they love each other and that they can't live without each other. I know there are some culture who practices arrange marriages but lucky to those who were arranged and fall in love to each other.

I forgot who said it, but "love is all you need" and thats all. Marriage turns love into something contractual. Why two people need that to feel secure with each other is beyond me, although i agree to the ceremonial part that is very spiritual and a wonderful display of love. As far as arranged marriage, well; that was always to benefit the person who made the arrangement. Whether it be for possesions or simply wanting the child to marry into a secure life. In anycase neither are done for love. Ask yourself, if you have a have a hard time finding the right person, how can anyone else?

I think it varies from couple to couple...Either love marriage or an arranged one, trust, understanding and mutual respect is what is necessary for a marriage to be healthy and successful..My parents and Grandparents had arranged marriage but are quite in love till ate and have a healthy family while so many couples who chose on their own have been separated...I just want to have a successful marriage like my elders whether I chose the man or my parents does...
