Googling damages planet. Do you beleive it or not????

How many of you beleive this or not. According to a new research it is said that performing google searches from a desktop pc generate some amount of CO2 and has definite invironmental impact.I m still confuse how this could be.So whats your opinion Mylotters?? Should we stop googling for the sake of our environment. Are you concern abt our environment??

Hi,
It could be possible . Yet ; I feel the overall impact is due to all the PC s and Computer Systems being used which generate a lot of Heat Output . We do use Air Cooling for these ;yet this cooling induces more damage .
Luckily companies like IBM now are working on making their devices more power efficient and these now produce less heat .
