At least 21,000 jobs were lost worldwide Friday according to the Bloomberg News. These companies companies cut jobs because, of poor fourth quater earnings and the global recession. The companies that cut jobs in America is Hertz Car Rental, Blue Cross And Blue Sheild and Clear Channel Communcations. Finally, it will probably take us five years to get out of this recession because, it seems like it is the same type of recession Japan had in the 1990's when it took the whole country ten years to resolve there financial problems. By march another 34,000 will be without jobs when Circuit City U.s. closes its doors. and when the big 3 fail, and they will, there's going to be more.

yep and it is going to get worse. Circuit city is going put 30,000 people out of work as soon as the close alone. Tons of jobs are disappearing from all fields of work. The problem you also add to that is the jobs that people are finding now pay less than they were making. I know a friend that lost her job, she now has a new job making less than half of what she was making. That means less money to pay bills and live on and less taxes to the government on all levels. This is going to effect everything and take a long time to recover from. Probly 10 years or more. The American people are going to have to learn to live on less and so is the federal and state governments. THere is no way they can raise taxes on the population right now. We simply can not afford it.
