Do you hate women who have an attitude problem?

I know a few women at my office who have a big attitude problem and their behaviour annoys me at times. For eg there is a colleague of mine who was just walking in our office campus. By accident a security guy bumped into her and touched her hands. What she did annoyed me. She immediately went and washed her hands as if she had touched an alien with a contagious disease. She also won't say "Hi" to anyone and won't respond when her colleagues PM her on the local chat messenger. I hate such women.

I would do the same to her. Bump into her and go wash my hands in front of her. That would probably help her know how other people would feel. I would also keep such eccentric people, be it men or women, at bay and speak only if spoken to or if it involves work. Such behaviour is so not desirable in a workplace and she would be on the losing end anyway. I hope she is not in your team...

Hmmm actually she is in my team and talks to me now. I try not to talk too much to her.

The easiest thing to do would be to ignore her. On the other hand she may need some help without realising it. Usually people like this do not accept any direct attempts to help them.
If you do not mind, I would like to suggest not to hate her. Try to accept her eccentricities. Hating a person can lead to emotional tension every time we see the person. In the end we destroy our own health.
As to your question I do not hate the person, only the attitude. An evil person can change his/her behaviour and become better than us.
all the best,

I like your response! I agree--there is no need to hate her BUT one must learn that everyone is different! I never knew that a long-time friend was OCD, but she freely admits it now and is a loving, stable relationship.

She may be shy and waiting for someone else to say Hi first! I generally don't say hello first to strangers, but will instead smile and look them in the eye--if they don't respond, it's their problem. As for her washing her hands after the security guard touched them, was he sick and coughing on his hands first? Was he exiting the men's room (not everyone's good about washing their hands!)? Some people have a compulsion to clean their hands multiple times a day. And about the PMs? Perhaps she was in the middle of something and didn't want to be disturbed.
Maybe YOU have the attitude problem here--ever think about that?

Its understandable if she was a celebrity but I doubt if even a celebrity will do such things.
