Which browser do you believe is the best browser and which browser do you use the most. I like the Mozilla Firefox browser the most. I just love the custom made add-on it includes a lot. Opera is nice but not in the league of Firefox just yet. Google chrome is fast but very simple in design. it is good for office users. internet explorer is like the mediocre browser. Avast browser is like the copy and combine browser.

I use more than one browser. "I have learned that where one is good another is bad and vice versa. IE is probably the only one I'd stay away from of the major ones.

IE 8 is in beta phase. I do not have it but my friend says it is good enough like the other browsers. It would be nice to see IE join the battle.

I have had to many problems with IE in the past. Obviously I can ''t use it anymore because I have a MAc but it really was frustrating at times and got buggy as well.

Firefox is an internet browser that works with just about any operating platform including: Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows. This graphic browser offers a great selection of features. Firefox pioneered tabbed browsing, which was recently picked up by Internet Explorer. This browser also offers integrated download management, live bookmarking, incremental find using the Firefox toolbar, anti-phishing protection, and a dynamic search system. Because it's open source software, there is a vibrant community of developers actively improving the base software, and creating Firefox extensions to add new features to the browser. Firefox is rapidly gaining market share, mostly at the expense of Explorer. As of February 2007, Firefox was used by about 14% of all Internet users, an increase of 5% over the previous year.

Personally I prefer Firefox, it seems to everything I need it too, and has the right addons for me. Never have liked Internet Explorer, it use to always seem to allow the trojans through into my computer, even with good anti virus software, it seemed like a wide open door. I have used opera recently on a friends computer, and this seemed just as good as Firefox, and if I had to change then it would probarly be to Opera.

Opera is nice too but the widgets it provides do not work so well for me. They take a lot of space on the screen and in the end if i have 2 to 3 widgets open i am looking at half the screen only.

i was new to the board and did not see this topic anywhere. also i am writing an article discussing the pros and cons of the web browsers. Discussion may give some new data or fact and even user feedback about the browsers. This would add a new dimension to the article.
