I do some craft works when I get leisure time. But I have not sold any of my crafts online. I just gift them to my relatives and friends. Through this reference some people have bought my works. But now with the lack of leisure time, I miss doing the crafts.

I sell handmade jewelry on a few sites (Etsy, ArtFire & 1000Markets) and it's quite competitive. I believe the economy has many people looking for extra ways to earn a little income from their homes, and many have turned to handmade crafts.
My hubby has been buying and selling sports memorabilia/sports cards for awhile and while you can still find some decent deals as a buyer, it's not very good as a seller. It used to be almost everything listed sold, and most often had a few bids...now maybe 50% sells and usually he only gets one bid.
Etsy works best for me. I know what my fees are ahead of time, they have a forum where I can promote my items and shop and compared to the other handmade sites, Etsy has the largest customer base...by far.
IMO, eBay customers are bargain hunters and I'm not willing to list a $30 necklace for $9.99 and hope to get bids.... and Buy It Now's just don't seem to be selling that well right now.
If you choose to begin selling... good luck.
