Strepsils relieves sore throat.

I have been so sick for three days already. I got sore throat, colds and fever. Just a while ago my boyfriend bought me strepsils because my sore throat was getting worse. Believe it or not, it sure helps to clear my throat. I love the citron flavor. How about you, have you tried strepsils? Does it help you to clear your throat? What flavor you like best? yes I have tried strepsils, they are okay gargling with salt and water also is great for a sore throat as well.

Hi shar19. I assumed that it is available everywhere because we have it in the Philippines and here in Denmark as well. It's a candy with different flavors and use it with people having sore throat. I should have research before I posted this discussion. But thanks anyway for responding.

Thank you my friend. I was thinking that strepsils is available to all countries when I posted this discussion. When I was on the Philippines, we have strepsils and when I moved in here in Denmark it's also very common. I should have posted a picture of it.

I have no such luck with Strepsils but I like it anyway. I always have them in my bag and would love to have any excuse just to pop one in my mouth, even a tiny itch in my throat. ummm, I am not sure if that's ok though. I like Honey Lemon best.
Whenever I have colds or sore throat, I dislike taking medicine. I just drink lots of water and, yes, gargle warm water with salt. That always work.

Strepsils are great. So are other sweets such as Lockets, or Halls Soothers. They all do the same thing, they work by putting an anaesthetic in your throat in order to relieve some of the pain caused by a throat infection, or a sore throat which is often experienced during a cold or flu. If I ever have a sore-throat I absolutely must have one of these sweets - can't live without them!
