What time do you eat dinner?

Well my days are never the same, but I'll try to get to the point. On the times that my husband works days, I eat at around 6pm. On the days that he is working the night shift, I don't end up eating until much later. I am wondering how bad is it to eat late at night? Can you actually gain more weight this way?

I think your weight will increase if you keep eating late and irregularly. As far as I know, it is better that we eat regularly, so our stomach can be accustomed to it. Besides, our stomach needs some time to digest the food we swallow before we fall into sleep.

We really don't have that organized time at home regarding time in eating dinner. It always differs everyday especially on occasions that needed much preparation. Well, i can eat dinner anytime of the night. I even eat before midnight when i have that cravings for food. Usually, i'm late in sleeping so every time, i just look for foods and eat them.

I eat dinner around 5:30-7pm. we usually eat around 6ish but sometimes it's earlier and sometimes it's a little later. I read somewhere that eating late at night is not actually bad. as long as you haven't gone over your daily calorie intake. come the end of the day however most people have reached there intake levels and so when you eat late at night it sits there because your going to sleep and you've already used up your calorie intake. if your worried about gaining weight from eating later at night just start doing a little bit of exercise or more exercise. and don't eat after your full.

I like to have a routine for every day dinner and of course it doesn't always work that way especially being a stay at home mother and wife. I like to keep a certain regimen going because I do like to have some structure in the household. I do believe that eating too late is not a very good idea but I understand that there are times when it can't be avoided especially for those that work late or at night time. I do also think it can put weight on a person more often by eating late at night time.

Eating late can cause weight gain due to the lack of activity your body has during the late hours. When you go to sleep aftr eating a big meal it turns to fat. I at dinner between 5 and 6pm. I don't fix dinner late. If our schedule calls for eating late then we just have to deal with something light like a salad or something.
