Yes, you read that correctly. I want mylot to delete one of my discussions. I see discussions here all the time where someone is complaining because this discussion or that discussion was deleted. Often the poster feels that the discussion in question should not have been deleted. A few of my discussions have been deleted by mylot in the past as well. I did not want those discussions deleted, but they were. I am not complaining about that, in my case I'm sure I probably broke some rule in the discussion that I either wasn't thinking about or forgot about at the time...No big deal.
But now I want a discussion of mine deleted and it is still here! I posted this rather long discussion. I had typed the discussion in my word processor first and then copied/pasted it into here. However, after I posted it, I realized that it must have been to long or something because the last part of the discussion was cut off in my post and wasn't there.
The discussion is not complete and is not really a discussion without the last paragraph, so I figured out how to shorten the discussion slightly, which wasn't easy because I had a lot to say in it. Anyway, after I revised and shortened my discussion, I contacted mylot, sending them a message requesting that they delete my previous post on account that the discussion was to long or something and the entire discussion had not posted, but had been cut off. I told them that I wanted this deleted because I wanted to repost the discussion in shorter form so that my entire discussion would post without anything missing from it.
No one has responded to the discussion I want deleted yet, not that I can see how anyone could anyway, since it is an incomplete discussion. Anyway, no one would lose any money or posts or anything from this discussion being deleted since no one has responded. Yet mylot has not deleted my discussion for yet as requested!!!
Why have they not deleted my discussion? Do you think mylot will ever delete this discussion for me? Have you ever wanted a discussion that you posted deleted?

I have not run across that before. I've seen the notes that some have been deleted because of a "violation" but I don't know what they violated and have not heard of anyone asking to have a discussion removed. Strange.

Well I guess I am strange because I am the one asking for my discussion to be deleted. LOL!

Howdy, how are you doing? What is the discussion link? I can perhaps respond. You can post the last paragraph on it, too. All you have to do is just add it to a comment. No, myLot doesn't delete discussions unless they violate the rules. That's why I was suggesting to just add to it when someone replies...I've done that before.
No, myLot doesn't just delete discussions because you want them deleted. They don't let us edit posts, so please don't wait around for them to delete it. Actually I will want to respond to your discussion, where is the discussion?

I actually already reposted the entire discussion in a shorter version in which I managed to get the entire discussion posted so I'm not really looking for responses to the first one. Plus, in the revised discussion that I did of the same thing, I informed everyone of the previous discussion and advised them to ignore it as it was the same discussion, just a little longer. Also, I think you would have a hard time replying to the first discussion that I posted on the matter due to the fact that 1. it is not really a discussion the way it posted because the discussion part of it did not come until the end, which is the part that is not there, and 2. It cuts off halfway through a word, so you can not even read the last word that did post because the entire word is not there.

I guess you have to inform them about it and they would act on it if they find it necessary to delete. I tried it once when I posted in here and no one replied to it and requested that it should be removed I guessed they removed it already as I do not see the post anymore.

maybe by posting this discussion mylot will be able to delete the discussion you're referring to. i did not know that there was a limit in posting discussions. so it only means that you're discussion is that long?
i wonder what discussion is that all about. tell me if you have posted it right. i want to read it too. i wish to make such long discussions also just like yours but i am a little lazy typing it all out here. anyway, happy mylotting!

I posted it earlier tonight. I didn't even think about the fact that admin might not be on duty tonight. So maybe that discussion will get deleted for me tomorrow then. I just hope that if they are going to delete it as I have requested that they will do so before anyone replies to it or anything because I wouldn't want anyone to lose posts or money.

Hi betsyraeduke its simple I hope you can make your discussion in volumes you have to breakup or plan your discussion as points or volumes so that with a volume number or as point one by one you can share it in the same section as a discussion. We can easily shrunk our content into one paragraph when we have main point that with 2 or 3 words we can define like this. My subject about make money online there are 3 words. Then what you are going to discuss on this you are going to ask something from the members or convey something to the members that you can plan and then you can express it in one paragraph. Hope you can reach my point.Thanks.

I once asked mylot to delete my discussion, and they did. After I had received a few responses to this discussion, I realized I had not explained myself very well, and people were getting the wrong impression of what I meant. So I contacted them and said since they deleted a lot of discussions anyway, would they mind deleting mine. lol I think it took a day for them to get back to me.

I never really had a discussion that I wanted deleted. Of course I don't start too many discussions. I usually answer a lot to the questions here. I am not sure why they are not trying to help you. I know the administration might be busy with a lot of things and they are good with pay outs.
I e-mailed something to the administration about something about a month ago and never got a response. I do wish you luck though. @yanzalong (19091)

In mylot I have never asked my post deleted. I have noticed that mylot does not provide menu in which posters can edit or delete their posts. As you mentioned you want it deleted since it is not yet a complete one. If for instance, you just let it be there, will there anything that may disturb you?
