Well, I'm not a mommy just yet, but I do the projects of my younger brother and assist my other brothers as well. They couldn't literally make a project without consulting me or asking me to give them a hand. It's funny because my mom used to do that for us, but ever since she taught me to be a good big sister, well, everything from covering the books, to studying them or making short quizzes for them was now my part. I love teaching them too, but they always tell me that I'm too much of a perfectionist (so does my mom) when it comes to projects. Sometimes even they fear that even though they did create the project, the teaching might think that they didn't do it because of my persistence of giving the teacher a good 'WOW' effect on them. Anyhow, it's fun, but it truly somehow makes me realize that there are things that we have totally forgotten about and thank God the internet was made and the information on the internet is easily accessible, else I'd for sure not have any idea anymore on what my brothers are talking about.

to make a sense!..it affects the child if he can't have a higher grade..!...so, it's came from the house and how you pursue your kids in studying and guide them in doing some projects and studying their lessons well!....a good education is the key of having a success!..to be a successful one of the good example in building your kids and having a good foundation!

I will sit with my daughter and assist her if needed but I truely believe in having her do her own projects. She really likes doing them as well. If I had a choice in a bad grade or her getting personal satisfaction for doing her own project, I'd choose the project. I want to push her to be all she can be and I think if I were to do her things for her, she'd never learn the lesson that comes with them. I have seen parents at school functions that do their kids projects and activities and it was sad to see the little kid sitting there watching his parents doing it. Also, I save all of her work and if I did it for her, I wouldn't have any reason to save it as I would know she didn't do it. I'm not by any means trying to be rude, it is just my opinions and way of doing things. There is a personal satisfaction, skill building, and sence of achievement in doing their own. My daughter is so proud of herself and all she does. It's nice to see her face light up with delight after a particularly important project.

i truly believe that being a mom and guiding your child makes the difference!...some mom, don't guide their kids of doing some assignments and projects...i think they will not learn the lesson well if you will just make it in their own...! it came from the home and the mom that well it takes....my son striving hard because he saw that i am a very supportive mom!...he so proud of himself and ...proud me, to be her mom!...projects are so very important particularly of how you do it!.. the satisfaction of my child is there!..

Who else except for trusted ol’ mommy? I am always there for my 4th grader. Its been this way since he first started doing project for school. Right from searching for pictures to researching on the topics to the actual decorations, I am always by his side. The recent one was on the heroes of India…we searched net for notes and pixes and it was generally fun.

These days the children are so overburdened with studies, where is the time to play, forget the projects. I too have done all the projects for my son when he was in school, for the poor guys homework would only take up most of the evening. Id surf the net and sit and do the project. Teachers know about this, and should refrain from giving projects to the kids. One in 6 months or a year is ok, it gives the child breathing space and an interest in the project. Too many and the child loses interest. I know it may be wrong, but then mothers are there to help all the time, for ever ready. Good luck with the project.
