I love Christmas. We read the story to the kids on Christmas Eve from the Bible. We make homemade cookies and candies for relatives. We visit relatives. We shop together for presents for families in need. We watch Christmas specials, the "fun" ones and the ones that tell the story of Jesus. My kids are homeschooled so we do a lot of projects at Christmas time. We focus on Jesus and giving and we spend time with families.

I celebrate Christmas in the commercial sense, but not in the religious sense.

To me christmas is a time when the family can all get together at the same time for a meal. I don't celebrate it in the religious sense, but it almost guarantees that everyone can get time off work at the same time.

The day set aside to remember the birth of our lord and to celbrate his life, he was given to us so we give to others...that's what it means to me, I don't necessarily have to be with family because that's not what it's about for me.

I do celebrate it. And to me, it means more than a religious holiday. For me, it means gathering with family and celebrating the fact that they are all there, together and alive.

I love Christmas my kids help me decorate the tree. We put up lights up outside, and Christmas morning when they get up and are so excited about the presents its wonderful. My son was in the church play last year as Joseph.

It means getting my special Christmas plates out, decorating the house with loads of Christmassy ornaments, I love the shopping leading up to it, i especially love looking for the most disgusting, bad taste presents that I can find for some friends who emigrated last year, it's traditional, we buy each other tat! Cooking, feeding people, i love it all. it will be even better this year as my Grandson will be 7 months old. Can't wait!
