I am really satistied with my camera. Its is NOT the latest model when i bought it two years ago, and while everyone in the office are so crazy getting newer models and looking at higher pixels (resolutions), i am still very happy with my Canon Powershot A550. Its a good buy for me. How about you? Are you also one of those who wants to upgrade to SLRs and take photography at heart?

I just bought my digital camera. it's not even a year old! So I am loving it right now. I'm worried though because I know for sure that in 304 years it'll become too clunky and too slow compared to the newer models. Oh well. Hopefully by that time I would have a lot of money to not bat an eyelash when I fork over hundreds of dollars for a new camera. :) By the way, I haven't caught on the SLR bug so far... :)

I am also very satisfied with my digital camera. All I pay attention to is the photo quality. Since the photo quality is very good and it also record a good quality video, I have no more complaints about it. I love China

I like my point and shoot olympus camera - weather proof. Although there are newer models that are sleeker than what I have now, I don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon. And I don't have any plan of buying an SLR or a DSLR for that matter - I think I should be really into photography to justify buying any of the two - and I don't like how many people feel like they're getting good shots just because they have good cameras. It's really annoying. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Hi Oyenkai! I like also the basics point and shoot camera feature, nothing complicated. I like photography and want to study on how to make good shots, but then again, I have no plans of upgrading in the near future. Happy mylotting oyenkai!

Well, I have an Olympus. It is at least 5 or so yrs. old, but still works good for me, so I am in no hurry to upgrade. The Funny thing is with the price of Cameras these days, I paid more for my Camera than most of them New cost now. It is amazing how much lower they are getting now. Only thing I wish is they were like Computers to where if they make something better you just replace one part and have a Newer item.

I have Sony Cyber Shot with 5 mega pixel. I'm satisfied with my camera but still I'm wanting a camera that much higher mega pixel than mine. I like the professional camera with 12 mega pixel but it's too expensive.

I've been starting to get interested in taking pictures. I would love to be able to take really nice scenic shots. I really need a camera upgrade. I don't know much about photography as far as bigger professional cameras and the technical stuff that goes with it. But my camera is a kodak camera that I bought 6 years or so ago. It is only 3 megapixels. I've been looking at Canon cameras. My sister got one a few months ago and I like it alot. I've heard they are good cameras so that is probably what I will upgrade to.

canon cameras are really good. i am using one. and my other officemates prefers canon too. maybe it really depends on your preference but i would say, canon is the best for me. give it a try the next time you consider buying one!

I admit I get envious with others' camera. Why not? Mine wasn't the latest model as well when I bought it 3 years ago. If I can afford it, I am definitely buying a better and upgraded model not because I am into photography but because I wanted to have better photo quality to capture those moments. But as for the moment, I am very happy with Kodak EasyShare C310, especially with the fact that it has caught so many wonderful moments in my life and my baby's. This is one piece of sentimental value

I don't need a new one as my digital camera is still working properly even it's not the new model with higher pixel but it still capture a good photos. So im satisfied with it now, and also i don't want to waste my money for new digital camera, there's more important things to spend money like foods and pay bills and savings for holiday. Happy posting.

what is the brand/ model of camera that you're using? that is very true. there are more important things that we need to prioritize now especially with the crisis that we are facing. as long as the photos are of good quality then so be it. certainly, its a luxury and waste of money if, our purpose is only to have the latest model. anyway, we are not going to use the camera in everyday of our lives! =0

Sony Cybershot is okay! My sister owns one and its really good and lots of features. However, i am faithful to my Canon Camera. Its suits me perfectly (compared to Sony). Anyway, it depends on our own preferences, right? What camera do you have, Gracie? Its still new, since your hubby just bought it only last month.

I dun have any digital camera because i'm not into photography.. haha =D Though i like to look at those pictures with nice scenery but i just dun have the interest to take them on my own.. hehe ^_^ MAybe that's also the reason as to why i dun like myself to be taken photos of too.. haha =D But at least this is one virtue of yours, not going for new things, while your current one is working fine ^_^ hehe

I definitely need to go for an upgrade in terms of my digital camera! I have one of those tiny James Bond spy cameras! Anyway, it doesn't have many features on it so I have to go for a higher spec camera in order to take reasonable pictures for items that I want to sell on ebay. Andrew

I'm still satisfied with my digital camera even it was so last two years because it still has great camera resolution and it was automatic so it adjust to the environment i'm shooting. It is also a canon and the model is IXUS 65. What I like about my camera is that I can shoot 10 image in succesions and I can set the timer fir the people to prepare fir the shoot. It's fun really and all if the people included on the shoot likes it. But if I do have time to proceed to my passion in photography, i will buy a nice camera for professional and also if I have money for it. Lols...

I think that's a waste of money, 'cause right now it's like--recession, and spending's not the thing we really need. I use a PowerShot A460. It's got 7 megapixels, and I love it like hell. :))

I am using a O-Rite make digital camera. It was bought from SAUDI by my dads friend on request,so I could not make any choice ,I had to accept just what he had bought.Oh sorry I forgot to deescribe its features It had, 5.2 MP resolution, 2.5" display, USB connection cable, TV output cable, chareger,(IT USES li-On BATTERIES ). a sd card of 512MB capacity. It looked pretty ok.At times.now I feel that I could go for an handy cam.Because I used to cover lot of videos. The videos that I record with this cam are too shaky and the worse thing is zoom option not availadle while recording.
