you are very right!! how smart and great are we?!?! kind of reminds me of that cartoon about evolotion.. it shows the fish turning into the ape then the ape into a caveman then the caveman into a regular human then a human hunched over a pc similar to a caveman.. we all seem to be going backwards

It's so sad that what you wrote is so true - especially for many Americans. I think it's where a lot of people set their priorities, and how they define success. Success should be happiness. But, most will come to realize that money isn't happiness. Yes, paying your bills IS important. But, what do you need to accumulate these bills and standards of living? Happy, helthy, relationships? Happy, healthy, well-behaved/well-mannered children? Have a faith? Believe in God? Have an intact family? (Not all couples should stay together - of course). But, if there are little difficulties, are they worth working out? Living for the long haul? Where are our priorities? What makes success?

Well you have counted all negative things, today we can be in touch of our parents and siblings more easily by email, sms. I feel world has come together.With small families the standard of living has also increased. Less children means more attention to them.So if we have lost somethings in the race of life then we have gained as well.

You just defined the price of progress and greed in action.

When you look at blunders commited by worls leaders, education level of terrorists, specialization courses for mundane tasks, you have to wonder : WOW .... What a great achievement.
