How Do You Call Your Partners?

For curiousity sake. I know each of us has a unique name for our partners such us honey, babe, sweetheart, honeypie, love and so forth. Before, I call my husband "my luvs" and with him to me "sweetheart" then I finally decided to call him "sweetheart". The problem is how can we make it shortened? sweet? or heart? don't sound nice either both,lol...But sometimes I call him in his name if we are in public. What about you?

hmm..on our first week..i started calling my doo my honey..but that endearment seem to be too much old-fashioned..and my doo is like a big baby..so i start calling him honeydoo..then babadoo..then honey vavee..then honey cutie vavee..see how it evolves..i think every other month we change our endearment..try it yourself and you'll never get bored..

Only filipinas do that, very experimental. Very unique though but I would rather keep calling him "sweetheart" until we grow old together. I don't want to change it coz I don't want him calling me another name one day. I might be thinking negative, you know. Thanks for sharing it.

At some point when my husband and I were dating we started calling each other sweetie. I don't know how we got started on that it just was there. It almost seems weird to call him by his name because I call him sweetie so much. Sometimes I call him babe. Or not that we have kids I'll call him Daddy. You could shorten sweetheart to sweetie.

When we are alone I will call him either honey, darling or sweetheart. But when I am in public and I need to call out to him, if he is far away from me for example, I might use his name depending on the location. I now feel a little odd using his name now though and prefer one of the more endearing pet names

I call my husband "honey" and he as different name depending on what he want..."Babe" is for i'm hungry,"honey"is because he need me to bring him something and "bella"is because he need affection among others things.LOL!

I call him a bunch of random nicknames. But the main ones I use are poopy, baby, boo, and matty. Haha. I'm not very creative when it comes to nicknames. i've tried sweetie and hunny, but I figured those were more nicknames for him to call me and felt weird calling him those names

I usually say honey or sweetheart. It usually happens out of habit that I call him those names in public too.
Every once in a while I call him by his first name.
