Big city or small town living

I live in a small town not too far from the city. I was raised in the city and had moved out of it about 12 years ago. At first I was very worried about moving into a small town as I do not drive. All of my family had been in the city. Now that I have been out here for a long time I have really enjoyed it. I do not think that I would ever move back to the city especially since there has been so much crime there since I have left. So how many of you would give up the city life? Do you think that a small town is a nicer place to be?

my mood changes all the time about which one i'd like to live in. i was raised in the country and then moved to a big city. i loved it there. especially the nightlife. however when i had my daughter i moved to a small town so she could have a yard to play in. for now i prefer smaller city but we don't have much in our town to do and it's an hour and a half drive to the big city where there are way more activites for us to do. so during that drive in i miss being in a big city and when we are bored i miss it

I do not think that you could pay me enough to move back to the city. But I do not mind visiting every now and then. Thanks for responding.

i live in a small town. it really is horrible here i think. it might be because i live in a small town in the middle of no were. i live a hour from any big city. i dont drive so its really hard to go anywere my town is very remote and anything big is a driving distances away. this might be because i grew up in the city. i hope more than anything my family moves back to the city . i think it would be easier for me there.

I also do not drive and rely on others to drive me. But as a mother I find it nicer for my kids. Thanks for posting.
