Laptops are very attractive and easy to carry, where ever the owner of the Laptop moves or thinks. But in my views, how many of you are using it, tell me sincerely. Only those who are travelling lot for their job are only benefiting with the Laptops. A normal man who is carrying the five Kgs of weight in his hand all the way is not correct. Now a days you can carry a Hard Disk of USB/Pen drive. which are of very less weight and you can do all the work using these accessories at your home or office or the business places. Yes of course if you are going to a place where you are not confident that there you will get the PC of same capability then you can carry a Laptop. In my case I have Desk top in my home and office too. Why I should be worry about the Laptop. The Laptop is very nice but you required it perfectly otherwise the desk top is best. You can very well change the configuration of your desk top as and when required but in case of Laptop there are so many restrictions. I have desktop with intel core2 duo 320 GB of HDD 1GB RAM and 22" LCD. which I like very much. Yes but you required the Laptop for business / work purpose then you must buy the Laptop, but my suggestion you take it in addition to desk top more you work on desktop than Laptop.

I am also a laptop user. I have an online job before and sometimes I travel to other places to have business meeting with my boss. And having a laptop is an advantage. I can bring my work anywhere together with my files and other important things. Also, for an independent girl like me, I used to live away from home and parents. I stay in an apartment and incase I need to move to other house, it is so easy to bring carry the laptop compared to desktop.;)

I have a really nice desktop that I never really use. I prefer the mobility a laptop provides. I can take it with me and work anywhere I choose. I am not stuck working at a desk. I am sitting on my couch in my living room right now watching TV and posting on mylot. I am not stuck in my office. I can take my laptop everywhere I go, and I can log on to the internet anywhere I find a wireless network that I can access. For most tasks, I prefer my laptop...

there are 2 computers in my house 1 is a desktop and the other one is a laptop thats because the laptop can be moved around the house and 2 people can be on the internet at the same time. it works out well that way if we didnt have this set up it would be very frustratong for everybody because my husband is an internet junkie.
