my 5 year old cut her hair and saved the evidence to show me

she cut her hair at school. she told me the whole story. she said she waited for the teacher to turn her back and she cut the front of her hair off. she wanted beings like her friend. the only problem is my daughter has very curly hair so it won't fall like her freinds it just made it look wors and is sticking straight out now. lol she even put the hair in her pocket to bring home to show me. lol what a kid. at least it was only the front so it isn't so bad

You have the cuties little one! I remember when mine did the same but I did not know enough about kids to know that this is normal. I hit the fan the first time this happened to me; you are quite the mom, pop. My little one had to remind me that it was only hair and it would grow back.
Why don't you paste the hair in her baby book with the details of the story; she will love it when she gets older. It may also help her deal with the same situation when she has her own kids.

at least it will grow back maybe you can put a large alice band to stop it sticking right out bless her. My daughter is almost 5 its something i could imagine her doing to be honest although her best friend is a boy so she may just come with all her curly hair gone i hope not lol!!

Thats funny you know the saying kids will be kids. My brother did the same thing when he was 4 years old. He put it in a envelope and brought it home to show my mom. I did the same thing in the first grade myself cutting my bangs. Had the same problem as your daughter does. Curly hair. Its funny though. At least it will grow back.
