It's Martin Luther King day here and there is much celabration. People seem to have more hope and i think it's because of our new President, Oboma. If we can just keep this hope going we can cope with our country's problems. What do you think?

Even if things go slowly, we finally have hope for positive change. Having been active in teh Civil Rights movement (still going on), I'm thrilled with the declaration that today is a day on, not as day off. We're all to do what we can to make the world a better place today. What could be a better way to honor Dr. King and welcome Barack Obama?

Hey pat! I am just counting down the hours until tomorrow when President Obama will be sworn in as our 44th President! I am so excited! I have seen some of the Martin Luther King celebrations today and have seen how happy everyone is and I now it is because of tomorrows inauguration! So I am hoping that this might be the beginning of some hope even though it will be a very long and hard road ahead of us! I hope that our newly elected President will be able to make some progress in his first term, but he defintely has his work cut out for him!
