I need to start dinner pretty shortly, but I have no idea what to make, and I thought maybe my mylot friends could help out with some inspiration. The basics I have on hand are: -pasta -pasta sauce -chicken breasts -rice -ground beef -hot dogs -breakfast sausages -eggs -hamburger helper -mac and cheese -frozen green beans -carrots -potatoes Plus other things like condiments, and some canned soups, veggies, etc. I don't want it to be too difficult as it's a beautiful day and I don't want to miss it (since they're sort of rare around here), and my boyfriend is picky like a child. :) Think grilled cheese, mac and cheese and cheeseburgers everyday! Ugh. I need some variety. He HATED veggies, so the most inventive way to serve him veggies would get bonus marks in my eyes. :) The most inspiring answer wins Best Response! :)

Oh here you go, this is a really good meal for you. Take your chicken cut into small pieces, in a frying pan, add some olive oil, the chicken, garlic powder, salt, pepper, basil and oregano. If you have canned mushrooms, drain and put this in as well. Cook the chicken till done. Make pasta and sauce, if you have picky eaters like I do, simply serve the sauce on the side. Place pasta sauce then your chicken on the top. Sprinkle with a little paremasen cheese you are done.

I just made a quick batch of spaghetti for my family. I wasn't in the mood to cook much today either.

I forgot to mention that my boyfriend had spaghetti at his mom's place last night. :)

hello breepeace i would take the sausages and make breakfast for dinner tonight. fry up some pancakes, eggs, make some gravy and throw some biscuits in the oven. maybe even fry up some fried potatoes as well. i do like to serve breakfast for dinner sometimes, it is a different twist on dinner. take care and have a beautiful evening.

*LOL* Thanks.. I was actually thinking about doing that, especially since I'm in sort of a time crunch. :)
