What makes a web site great?

I'm building my first web site and I personlly love my web site but I'm concerned that other people will find it boring. My Site is mainly a way for me to share a list of all my favorite sites (I like to virtual window shop)It also has a chat room, a few games,my own personally blog which I like to discuss some of my favorite sites in more detail and I discuss my lifestyle a little(I'm a vegetarian). So my question is what makes a web site worth visiting more than once, what would keep you coming back?
