Today i went to get some iced tea and batteries. I got those but then on the way out to my car i realized the little batteries i got were missing as was my card for movie gallery and my reciept (all in a little baggie). I ran back in to ask if i left them at the till then started searching. I found the baggie sitting on the edge of a christmas wrap display - they must have fallen out of my purse. I picked up my baggie and noticed the sign for the gift wrap. 90% off! It looked like an awesome deal on gift wrap for next Christmas. The sign says Rolls of Gift wrap 24 cents EACH. I grabbed 16 rolls and somehow i managed to get all 16 of them for a total of 2.88 which actually worked out to 18 cent a peice! Have you ever picked up an awesome deal only to get it to the cashout and find out that its an even awesomer deal? What was it?

Sounds like you got a lucky break. Funny how things turn out that way. Especially after you thought you'd lost your purchase.

A very lucky break. I would have been sad having to get more batteries - they were for my dad's alarm clock. And he needed them before he left for work for 2 weeks.

I did the same thing with gift wrap this year. Too some of the red and silver could be used for other occasions since they didnt really have Christmas patterns on them. So Valentines for the red, weddings or birthdays for the silver. You have to think outside the box sometimes. I also bought some charger plates that were gold. I had been to a friends house and she had bought the clear plastic plates and put them in a charger plate, so it looked elegant but the main plate was throwaway, and could be used anytime of the year. Nicer looking than paper plates.

Yes and right now seems to be a good time to catch these deals. I went to a Goody's today because it is going out of business and they had everyhting 50% off. So I got some Spring/ Summer clothes that totaled about $25.00 When I checked them out they totaled $14.65! Woo Hoo for me! Two outfits for under $20 bucks!

That's really awesome. I try to wait closer to last day of a closing out sake to go because then they sell things for dirt cheap. This summer i got hats and mitts and scarves for 10 cents a peice when saan store closed out and jeans for a dollar everything was 90% off the lowest price. Then i had coupons they had given me the week before. I love deals.
