Have you rented/bought a DVD just because you were attracted to the front cover?

I will go bankrupt so if I buy a DVD because of the front cover alone. It's easy for labeling a attracted front cover for the DVD pouring into market, and it's easy for you to spead all your money for them as well. Just thinking, even though you got all the DVD whose front cover have an enormous appeal, do you have time to watching them? Buy the way, few appearance matches the reality, you will always feel disappointed without considering other factors.lol, don't let yourself be fooled by such superficial picture.

Yes sometimes I am that. If I would see a non presentable cover of that CD or DVD, the chances of renting is less than those beautiful one. I know it would be wrong but it's natural I guess. But after I read the review at the back if it would be nice one then I consider the nature of the cover of that DVD or Cd..

yes i have.. lucky for me, those movies that i picked because of the front cover has nice storyline,,, sometimes i also picked movies from the title...my friends finds me weird sometime, because i pick movies that have weird titles like capote, and other titles.. but all the movies, i got had nice stories...

I don't know that I've ever rented or bought a movie just because of the cover. There has been a cover that I've seen that's attracted me, so I was able to read the cover. Sometimes you need that attractive cover to get you to read more into the title. If the cover doesn't look too "appetizing," how are you going to even consider looking at it?

Hello modstar,I have learned long ago never to judge a book by its cover.I apply the same principle when selecting DVDs ,while shopping and also while interacting with people....

no i've never rented or bought a dvd for that reason alone. it's usually becuase i've heard it's good or i saw it before and loved it. i barely ever buy them anymore thoug. the only movies i buy are the disney ones for my daughter

Hello modstar, I don't buy DVD because of its cover. I always try to find the synopsis of the story at the back.If the storyline attracts me, I will ask the seller to play the DVD to make sure it is good and clear. Then only, I will buy. Oh, yes! I am talking about pirated DVDs here...

I have or just by the title and then been very disappointed in the movie. I agree never judge by the cover. However I will say you cant judge just by a trailer either - sometimes they put the only good stuff into the trailer and you're left pretty sad at how bad the movie was when you watch it.

Yes that is how I have found a few really good movies. But I always see who is in the movies as well. You have a nice day.

the cover of the dvd may attract my attention so then i'll pick it up to take a look at it but i never buy or rent one only because of the cover. i always read the back of the dvd and see what the movie is all about and who's in the movie before deciding

Hello modstar! I never rented a cd or dvd just because the front cover is catchy. When I saw some good covers, the next thing I do is look at the back and read what is it all about. The content is still important for me.
