Hurrah! Hurrah! ...So what do they do next? As I was singing this childhood classic to my daughter, I realized that I had forgotten what some of them did! I proceeded to look on Google for my answer, but found many different variations to the same song with little to no known origin as to which one was "first." Most of the lyrics I found either didn't fit with the rhythm correctly or just didn't sound "right." I remember it being such a fun song to sing, though, and my little one is just now getting to the age where she likes Mommy to sing and be extremely animated while doing so! My question to you, dear myLotters, is how you were taught when you were young? Or maybe you were like I and you just made it up as you went! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Happy myLotting! :)
