Strange (special) things at your wedding....

What is something strange or unusual that you insisted on having/want to have included in your wedding?
I have a couple of things I want to have in my wedding when I get married. First, when everyone is seated for the ceremony, I want to fill the first row of seats with tea light candles to represent/remember all of the loved ones who can't be there to share with us.
Second, and this is going to require a special kind of groom, when I was engaged the last time I was looking at wedding things online and I found the cuuuuuuuuutest champagne flute set. One had Jack and the other had Sally from A Nightmare Before Christmas. I want those for our toasting glasses!

I wore my mothers wedding dress. Now that doesn't sound strange but there was no way it could fit me.
This dress was a calf length beige silk that buttoned up the front. She wore it when she eloped in the 1950's. My mom is almost 5'5. I'm 5'9. Her calf length dress came to the bottom of my knee and there was no way I could get it closed from the waist up. But I was determined.
So I took the buttons of the front, put some lace on it temporarily to cover the buttonholes and where the buttons were, but a white silk camisole underneath it and I did wear my mothers dress.

Aha...you have planed a lot of your dream wedding,you are so thoughtful a girl.that's so good for you
I have never thought about how my wedding would be,not to mention some strange or special things.but as you mentioned I may take some time to think about that,it is romantic:)
