The Rockets have the nucleus to win a championship. A dedicated Yao Ming and complimentary players is enough to go to the Western conference finals. But the Rockets have much more than that. In this current winning streak the Rockets have developed chemistry, that much needed ingrediant to provide a winning environment. Yao is the focal point. If Yao is dedicated; he could become almost unstoppable much like Hakeem became. If you remember it took Hakkem about 5-6 years before Hakeem started approaching that MVP standard play. THe complimentary players are the key. Louis Scola is solid especially being backed up by Carl Landry. We look for Ron Artest to be back soon and with Shane Battier the three is solid. Von Wafer is the biggest news at the 2. He has become consistent and energetic. Even when he is not making threes, he is effective with transition and driving to the basket. With all this nucleus in place its time to trade Tracy McGrady and build on the good chemistry the team is building. A good trade would be Brad Miller and John Salmons of Sacremento for McGrady and a number 1 pick. It would help the Rockets with depth and McGrady would have a chance to be a vocal point again. One day soon maybe The Rockets would look for better point guards but right now its Alston and Brooks. The Rockets are just as good as any team of course their are other teams with all stars. Lebron James, Koby Bryant but the Rockets have Yao Ming they can win too.

yeah, i think the rockets will need to have a big trade in order for them to win. i really think houston should give up mcgrady. the team should be building around yao and with mcgrady on the floor, yao is almost nonexistent. mcgrady shoots in volumes and he likes to shoot those contested 3s 2-3 feet beyond the arch when they should just go inside to yao. brad miller and salmons would be a good fit for the team. both of them can shoot the ball very well and miller is also an excellent passer
