Hi youless. To be very honest my Oma had a cat that was very similar in color and was large 28 pounds. His name was Tang and was loved by everyone in the family. However my Oma's love actually hurt him. He was 12 years old and was very sick with diseases because he was overweight. He had arthritis and other stuff. Doctors put him on a diet but still she kept giving him yogurts and junk food that cats aren't supposed to have. If this was a child in such bad shape we would cry abuse. Just because it is a cat doesn't take away the fact that we shouldn't do this to our loved ones. He had to be put down and was only 13 years old. There is a difference between a cartoon drawing and a real cat.
One can life large forever.

Hi youless! Oh my, that cat looks so heavy! But he is cute indeed! I find it to be so cuddly and sooooooooo cute. What was he eating? Aaaah, maybe he ate the real Odie! haha...However, I really worry about his health but I guess the owner is really taking good care of him. Thanks for sharing the photo, I did enjoy looking at it.
Take care and have a beautiful day!

I feel for that cat. Poor thing probably can't walk. He looks too big to support himself. That woman should be scolded and told to put him on a proper diet.

Well, the cat is so cute... and does look like Garfield... i wonder what the owners are feeding him/her... i think that cat is one of a kind... but then... for sure the vets would not agree to that weight because the cat can already be considered as obese... and is very prone to heart attack and high blood pressure...

It is cute, but I can't imagine how unhealthy it is! My brother had a cat that was about 30 pounds. But he wasn't really fat, he was just a huge cat (Maine C oo n Cat). (I was going to leave the c and the oos and the n together, but apparently that word isn't allowed in MyLot). Though most people thought he was fat because he had really long fur, especially on his belly. When he got wet though, he didn't look near so big!
