EVA Fonda is scary.......

Okay not really, I just said that to catch your attention. Anyway, I'm concerned about the timeslot of the show because well, some kids at home stay up late sometimes to watch fear factor basically because I stay up late too for the show and they won't sleep unless I sleep. And because EVA Fonda is before fear factor, naturally the kids get to watch it too. They get to watch how pretty Christine Reyes is....oh how the kids don't seem to blink. Sometimes, as Filipinos, we instinctively try not to expose kids to sensitive scenes such as those in the show, and I worry because well, I couldn't cover all their eyes (while I'm also covering mine?Lol!) Do you think Eva Fonda should be transferred to another timeslot? Or should I just give up my passion for fear factor for the sake of the children?

Hello Theresaaiza! Honestly, I rarely watch the show, so I haven't seen all the daring seens yet. I admit that Christine Reyes is really beautiful that's why sometimes I sneaked at it sometimes because of her. But I heard a lot about it here that it's daring so it's better for ABS to tranfer it to another timeslot.

I think putting fear factor last is a strategy to force us to watch all the other primetime soaps. Because most of us would really wait up for fear factor so we hav no choice but to watch all the others. I don't find the need to to do this anymore because EVA F is picking up in ratings, I think so they can put it in any timeaslot and people would still watch.

i don't watch the show but i heard it was originally intended for the afternoon timeslot after wowowee. it was shot first than the show with jericho. since she had a good reception in that show with jericho, they decided to put eva fonda in primetime.

no, i'm not comfortable with the timeslot because the theme of the show is not really suitable for kids. i'm not a cristine reyes fan anyway so i don't watch the show. i prefer la lola. =)

Same here I am kind of concerned about the kids watching at this time as the time slot is kind of early for them to show that is intended for mature people. You have a point there, I hope the network would soon realize this and change the time slot.

Thanks for sharing that same point of view. I hope the station becomes a little concerned with that too. I mean, there's a PARENTAL GUIDANCE note and all but let's face it, we can't track our kids' activities 24/7.

i also think the timeslot should be moved also.i think fear factor should be aired first than eva fonda.some scenes in the series is really not advisable for children to watch.well,i think many parents and adults have already aired their concern regarding this to the network.i guess it's just a matter of waiting when it will happen. happy mylotting!

oh if that's the case, that's good enough. I hope they act fast coz I hate sleeping late after waiting for almost eternity for fear factor to begin. Better yet, they can put fear factor right after deal or no deal. *winking*

Hmm.. If i only have the chance to witness Christine Reye's creamy as milk body i would but the timeslot is pretty late and i'd rather stay online and earn together with my bestbud. Going back, lol! Well, it looks to me that you're having difficulty managing kids while watching Eva Fonda. I've never watched any Eva Fonda episodes yet so i don't have any idea how sensitive were the scenes you were talking about. Knowing you, conservative right? And you're mature enough right (...sexually)? Leave the job to the MTRCB then do your job as the one who needs to exercise "Parental Guidance". Exercise your authority. If the kids don't understand a thing, they will ask then that's the time you intevene. Now, if you're worried how Eva Fonda will mold the children's minds, then you can explain a thing or two. You know like, "Ok kids, it's an adult matter. We'll get to it when you grow up". Kids nowadays are a lot smarter so they sure will get the drift.

Sorry, I had to say this but you have the option to use the remote control and switch channel during eva fonda time and just wait until it ends. I've already seen this issue on another filipino forum site seems like they didn't think a simple solution to their problem. Your right there are many sensitive scenes on this show that's why it is rated as Parental Guidance. And if I'm not mistaken this is not the only show which shows sensitive scenes. There are many others shows like this. If a narrow minded or conservative person will look at this show, he or she will surely say that it's an immoral show. But come to think of it every time I watch it, I only see the reality of life. The social issues that are really happening in our society. So it only depends on who and what kind of person is watching a certain type of show. Sorry it's just my opinion. Happy mylotting.

Yeah, that's also one big problem on some tv stations. The loads of commercial are longer than the tv show you are watching. I mean the commercial takes 5-10 minutes. Yeah I know that you never mention that the show is immoral. I'm just saying that it only depends upon the kind of person watching it. Cheers! Hehehe..

yes, the commercials that seem to take forever. Yeah, we both know that I didn't mention immoral because this time around I want to be careful with the things I write down here. Some people think they can just report us anytime. Lol! But really, the show is sexy (and maybe immoral to some) and I think both parents and guardians, and the station must be most concerned of the welfare of the children.

no problem, no opinion is right or wrong. :-D however, that's exactly what I do, change channel. But there are pathetically two channels possible on our TV and most of the time,it's commercial in the other channel. How about if I wasn't there to see what the kids are watching? Like I said, we can't watch over our kids 24/7. I also never mentioned that the show is immoral. What happened to Eva may happen to anyone. Other stories may even be worse. However, it's undeniable that it's got very sensitive scenes that may not be very good for the kids. I mean it's something we adults tend to protect our kids from by instinct. Thanks for the response, ciao! (by the way, our remote control is defective lately. Lol!)
