Hi Abbey! I haven't tried brown rice, not that I remember, but I've heard it's healthier! I too prefer white rice and actually have it every other day. I just make steamed rice or fried rice.

I love white rice than brown rice. I think brown rice boil a lot longer than white rice. The texture of the brown rice is somewhat rougher unlike white rice, they're pretty smooth. The brown rice though, equally smells good like white rice. I heard brown rice costs more but they're healthy.

I like both Modstar, I eat only brown rice, it need more water to cook it soft, sometimes I mix it with white rice, then will be taste better, the price of brown rice is expensive than the white rice, is double price of the white rice.

I do prefer white rice but I use brown. It's wholegrain, it's good for you, but I don't really like the taste or texture as much as white. It is a great substitute for half the hamburger in tacos though. It is quite hearty and fills in nicely. I think that the key with brown rice is to cook it just a bit longer than you're supposed to. I just use Minute Rice and I've found it to be a little on the tough side otherwise.

I like white rice the most, but since brown rice is healthier I have made an effort to eat more brown rice and less white rice. And it isn't easy! White rice tastes so much better!

hi Abbey, im not a big fan of brown rice either. in our house we usually have regular white rice. we also have a lot of white Basmati rice, it's got a great smell when its cooked and a great taste. not as plain as regular rice
