I think there is no cricket left in rahul. Everyone wish to retire when they are the top of their form but i think he will waste time and will not contribute enough for india. He is a slow player and i think getting back in form would not be too easy for him. He should retire

Yes it is the right time for him to retire. How ever he must retire honourably. with honour. He must atleast give 2-3 excellent performance in the matches. Then it would be the write time to retire. If he continue that above performance then also he would have to retire. As then the board will throw him out. THat wil be more shameful.

Hey abhi. I don't feel Rahul Dravid has gone past his prime. I think he can still deliver and we are no one to decide when it will be best for him to retire! Its just media frenzy and hypocrisy of media. I think even saurav ganguly was good for playing but he became the victim of media business. Now, its time of Rahul Dravid looking at the furore media has created and put the seeds of doubt in Indian minds! Its still early days for him to call quits. He can go on for more years...

Rahul Dravid is a great cricketer. he has lot of cricket left in him. However, it is good for him to retire at this stage. he has scored a lot of runs and still can score more but Indian team has a strong reserve bench and many emerging players are waiting on the bench. Keeping in view of the coming world cup it is better that we give place to new cricketers

Yes. He should retire now. I agree he is a great player, but of late I don't think he is having enough practice. It seems he just comes direct to the field and plays. May be his performance will improve if he gets enough practice. However, there is no need to wait for him to regain his form. Our country is big and we have plenty of promising youngsters. Also it doesn't mean that he is contributing only if he plays. He can contribute by guiding the youngsters.
