Hello mylottians have gone through the news that fast-spreading virus infects 9m computers. MS issued a security update to deal with the socalled virus. Be careful. Express your views.

Its a new Windows Worm known as downadup, well it has affect over 9 Million computers, this Worm has a bug in its code, well its actually supposed to trick the user to Buy antivirus so that this worm can be removed but its not doing that but its keeping on spreading..
There are many Worms like this...
The Main targets of this Worm are corp Servers and this Worm spreads though USB Flash Drive too..

"9m computers" means 9 Million computers ,its not brand name...
even one of my friends pc is infected with this worm, he got it from his pen drive, so be carefull while plugging pen drive into ur pc make sure its not infected if its Vista you are lil safe ..

ok, i understand now, thank you prajnith for your advice. My Windows is still XP SP2 and i want to trying Windows Vista, alot of people say Windows Vista it many problem in their system, so i will try Windows Vista later. Happy Myloting and have a nice day

Thanks for giving me the information on before hand, Which anti virus is capable of destroying this virus can Mcafee do it. By what means will this virus spread will it come from yahoo messenger or will it come from affected pendrives.

Hey friends A new digital plague has hit the internet infecting millions of personal and business computers in what seems to be stage I of a multistage attack. It is not known who programmed in the infection or what the next stage will be. Recently a worm , a malicious software programme has swept through corporate, educational and public computer networks around the world. It is known as conficker or downadup. Expert says that it is the worst infection since slammer in 2003. Many computer user may not notice that their machines have been infected.
