ever since i started using the computer a long time ago, i always use the Windows operating system. my first computer was a Pentium II, if i can still remeber it was Windows 98. then came Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows ME, XP, and now Windows Vista. i am currently using the Vista and it looks awesome. but still there are times that it keeps on crushing my computer. i think Mac also is a good OS though there are limited softwares that runs on Mac.

windows is OK for PCs. But i have recently learned LINUX(for my college project)...and i found that that's a much advanced OS. especially if you want to do some thing productive....programming, etc... but for usual purposes, XP is good. :-)

yeah that's the reason most of the people use windows as most of software's or games are compatible with windows

I love windows XP it is the best operating system. Red hat linux is also nice but we have get skilled to use LINUX becasue it very different from the Windows family. Vista is big BUG from Microsoft because very few people liked it and many say that they don't like vista so that's the reason microsoft is making another operating system called Windows 7 let how it is going be.

vista is still in the early stage and i think it still takes some time for the industry and the people to accept it as it requires high configuration systems...

Here at home, I'm using Windows XP service pack 2. I prefer this one over Windows Vista. Low PC spec requirements and I'm used to it for years unlike Vista who's in my opinion, still bugged and a bit cumbersome compare to XP. But in the office, I actually use Linux for servers, Mac for better graphics, and I use Windows there for Solitaire..

It is the Windows XP for me. I feel sometimes lost out while using the Vista and so I prefer the good old XP. Also, I prefer the older version of Microsoft Office rather than Office 2007 as it has been changed considerably.

I also have vista, and it sucks, compared to xp. i used to have xp, but my brother had a pack to upgrade, and he said it would be better, but actually its the opposite. my computer used to be very fast, but with vista its very slow. Mac is also good, and its easy to work with it. my brother as an Imac, 22 inc. w0000t peace out

In windows I would say XP is the best, its the stablest & good version of windows I have ever come across. Vista is just one crap created by microsoft just to compete with the looks of fedora core & ubuntu by enhancing its graphics at the cost of drinking loads of processor & RAM resources. But my all time favourite would be linux. Let it be fedora or ubuntu or opensuse everything rocks because they are all open source & designed with some common sense & not with an intention to make profits.

windows xp is the best for me. vista is also good but for home users it is too much. unix/linux is great for business since it is powerful, reliable but not for home users, i dont like it.

hi i am arman. i perfer for windows xp because it is much faster than vista . vista wants very high configartion, other xp work very smoothly in such a low configration pc. graphics of vista is much better than xp but it makes your pc slow . vista is mainly used in gaming pc because he sppouts them. but it gives you a faster performance.

well def. it is windows xp. i am using this since it was introduced and that was the case i am in love with it. it is very stable and looks are also cool. well the most important thing is the amount of customization that can be done to xp which makes it much more popular. it is fast and also does not lock up huge amount of system resources. all in all it is just great./

my favorite OS is Fedora Linux which will have a lot of tools and heavy security options compare to xp and vista. Vista is also having lot of tools which is very useful for us but it will need a large amount hardware capacity, minimum of 1GB RAM but it will not enough for vista it will need 2GB RAM

oh, really? I have never meet that kind of problem, I use vista for about nearly two year, I prefer vista than XP. be sure that your computer has fully capacity to operate with vista system.Vista has highly requirement about operating speed, CPU and other functions for your computer.

I am still using Windows XP Professional SP2. It's more stable than vista. I just lazy to use another operating system. That's my main reason why I don't want to switch to another OS.
