How to check whether the discussion has been started in MyLot before?

All this while, I use the search bar on top of MyLot to search the keyword of the discussion that I want to start. Is that a correct way? Or is there other way? If so, can you please kindly let me know? I do not wish to create the same discussion over and over again. Thanks in advance.

Hello redsponge! First and foremost, allow me to say that your avatar is cute. I am an avid fan of spongebob and it really amazed me when I saw that there is red spongebob.
Well back to the business, I also used the search bar to check whether someone started the discussion already. I guess you're doing the right thing.

I always check before post discussion, to prevent my discussion removed by myLot. How to check it by inserting the points my discussion. For example your discussion, I will enter it with "check"+"discussion"+"started"+"mylot". Always enter "mylot" as part in the search.

Hi redsponge!!! i fan of spongebob and i can't see your avatar, because my connection is getting slow today. I turn off my image option, and i don't know your avatar cute or not. I use search for the topic to check my started, but you know "all of my searches seems get all of discussions". I wish i am not to create the same discussion again.
