The "Beast" The Presidents New Limo

Have you seen the "Beast", no not Patrick Swayze's new series, I am talking about the Presidents new limo.
When Barack Obama is officially inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States of America next week, he will ride to the ceremony in a brand new Cadillac Limousine.
A new limo has been designed for the new President and it is a fully armored Cadillac made especially for the president. Here is some more pictures and a little more descriptions of the new limo.

I believe this car was ordered long before Obama was elected - for whoever the next President might be. From what I have heard it does contain some additional technology features that were requested by Obama, but the car itself was not designed specifically for him.

The President deserves all the latest in high security transportation, so it would stand to reason that they replace them every four years.
My only questions are, is it "green", and if not, why aren't the lefties protesting it?

I saw a report on it where they showed the features and such. It's not exactly nice looking, lol. But it suits its purpose. It will keep the president safe. I think a new limo is ordered for each new inauguration day... so about every four years.. They have to keep up with the newest of the new in security features. I'm sure they also put quite some miles on that thing and it gets flown around the world.
And no, Obama didn't select it or order it. I think it's a secret service thing. The president probably only has input on the amenities inside (bar, computer plug in, phones, TV, whatnot).
But I have to say, this time around its ugly looking.

Hi Chevee,
That is very very nice but I don't blame him getting a car that is bullet prove as he has already been threaten against his life, well hope he can do something for the country as its needs sorting out. Hugs.
