What's the best music to which you've been put 'on hold' ? :)

I work in a Helpdesk in the airline industry, and every so often I have to call somewhere in the world, to solve some problems and make the wheels turn smoothly. Some of these companies have the most funny and ridiculous Hold music, others have just awesome tunes that will keep ya there with no stress no worries for 15-20 minutes if you they have to. Of course it's all stress free when cause it's company money :D Do you like / dislike the hold music you're left with ? Peace :D

Usually it seems to be the usual soft jazz. Sometimes, you will be lucky and it will be something else. There has been a few times I felt unfortunate and it would be country or gospel even, which would put me in an odd mood when the operator got back on. The best though, was when I heard some strange trance remix track of pink floyd, I was intrigued, really getting into it, and for once, the operator got on before I wanted them to. I made a brief mention of it, and realised there was probably no way they would be able to tell me who the artist was and such, or if they would even know what type of music played. When I was a call rep, it was several months before I found out that we had some sort of celtic music and ocean sounds on our hold. This was only after a few customer complained one day after some track that apparently made them sleepy played.

If I sit through a bunch of bad music while I sit on hold for 15 minutes it can really be bad for my 'case' because by the time the operator comes on I am feeling irritable and snappy, which never puts anyone in much of a mood to help me, hehehe, that is why I usually hang up if they have bad hold music. Even 5 minutes of country or gospel music would have me ready to go on a killing spree... shoot the morons and put them out of their misery. Yeah, knowing what hold music your company plays is the equivalent of knowing your own phone number... I never call myself so anytime anyone asks me for my phone number I have to think about it for a minute... I used to have to look it up or ask somebody I was with "what's my phone number?"
