I'm not too good with computer stuff. But someone sent me images in a pdf file and I need to convert the file to a jpg file so I can send them to a photo company to print as 4 x 6 photos. I right clicked on the thumbnail but the "save as" option did not come up. I went to picnik to upload the image so I can rename it but it came up as an error. Do any one of you know how to convert a pdf file into a jpg file? TIA!

Are you using the latest adobe reader? If not try to use it, you can download it at www.adobe.com. if this does not work, try this steps but this will be tricky. Open the file first and use the print screen key of your keyboard and then open the MS Paint and select edit from the menu bar and then paste or you can simply do Ctrl+V. Then save the image as jpg. The problem with this is that it copy all the content of your screen window. To fix this problem, open the MS Photo Editor and then open your file and then crop the image or the picture you want and then save. If you can find a screen capture programs in the net it will be lot easier.

I think perhaps you can try to use Photoshop to convert it. If it doesn't work, then download a screen capture software and you can cut the PDF file into the JPG format. I love China

Print Screen works ok, but it can be alot of messing around....What if you have like a 500 page book or something that you need converted to JPEG? You don't wanna waste 3 hours copying and pasting and then editing!!! The Solution: ZAN Image Printer www.zan1011.com You simply "print" your document to the "zan printer" and it "prints" it out in any photo file type you want!
