I'm a guy, and I fully understand your regret. I'm very sorry. Long hair is very beautiful, and I am pained when a woman undergoes a major chop. One woman at work had the most amazing long hair. I don't know what she was thinking. She is 49, and was the hottest babe in the place. The great news: My wife once had*spiked* hair during her pixie phase, but that was a wake-up call, and her hair has not been above waist for the last half decade. And it will not be. She hates short hair more than I do now. Smile and hold your head high. If you wish, your hair will NEVER again be short, and from your photo, that will be a LONG time!

Sometimes we make wrong choices in life that we regret. Good for you that it will grow back again and you'll get what you want. So don't despair it will be back pretty soon just go on with your life and be happy with what you have and soon you will realized that its back to where you wanted it again.

Do not worry about it so much you still have your hair and it still grows so i think there's nothing to worry about in the meantime it is short prepare your hair to be long and strong again. do not concentrate on the bad feeling just move on because you cannot get your long hair just being depressed buy it.

Dont worry, I know you must be feeling miserable, if the hairstyle does not suit you. It will take time, but like they say, its our farm, we can grow it back again. Till then, go to some good stylist and get it redone. Maybe, it will suit you better. cheer up pal, its not the end of the world.

I think maybe you should not worry so mush about the long hair gone, and be thankful with what you still have. Find a cute way to fix it, and go with it. Soon people will be telling you how they love your new hair style. And you will be loving the attention.

Well, don't be sad... Just make your haircut nicer like placing a head band or clip for you to look younger and beautiful. Don't worry you wouldn't noticed that your hair is growing in no time and you will get shocked that your hair is back to its length.
Cheer up! I have the same thing too. This time it was my bangs that the person cuts it never did what I wanted instead, he cuts my hair the way he wanted.

Yes I have done this before! Many times actually. I get so sick of my hair being the same way so I chop it off and then I really hate it and wish I would have left it long! I am at that point again and want to cut it, but maybe I won't reading your discussion just reminded me of how much I usually hate it after I have cut it. Thanks for the reminder!

i dont know what comes up with my mind that i let my officemate cut it and the worst of it is that he cut it very short i told him to trim it a little, actually this guy is a gay so maybe he wanted to do something new with me thats why he cut it very short, then i was not contented with how he does it so i go to the parlor and cut it again...thats what happens...

It has never happened to me, when someone cut my hair and the result was a regret? But I'm sorry to hear that it happened to you. Anyway, just draw some positive things out of what happened to your hair, I'm sure you'll still be beautiful with your short hair.

Ohhh! how sad, never mind it will grow back soon, yes when I was a lot younger I had a long hair down bottom and one day I got fedup with had it all cut off, I did regret it but years later I had my hair just down to my shoulds and I ask my friend to cut it very short, now I wouldn't want it long again, I love it short.

Oh yes, that happened to me also!! I cut my hair in the salon that has no concern how would I look like and never followed my instructions how much inches just to be trimmed. Since then I was so very much careful not to cut my long black hair, hehehehe.... Until now actually, I have not cut nor trimmed it yet, am still looking for a salon that can give an idea how and what could be the best style for me... :)
