lost of a pet...

I also like to keep pet animals. Currently I have one dog, two cat, and fish in fish tank. I used to have parrots and rabbit. Once my parrot flew away, from that time I havent brought new one.

Yes i had a small white poodle Minnie i named her, i had her for 13 year, and she was terrified of loud noises,thunder, fire works, anything loud. The one night, she ran out the door, not like my minnie, she never wanted to go out unless i was with her. The neighbors were setting off fireworks, it was the 4th of July. well I was calling Minnie, she was no coming ot me. So i stared asking around, No one has seen her, My neighbors said she was over there, then she ran up to my moms house. Hard for me to believe Minnie would go over the neigbors with the fire works going off, did not see like her at all. That whole night i was up waiting for her no minnie, the next day went looking for her, In my thoughts i felt well being so scared of loud noises she went up in the mountain and took a heart attack. With her being so old. Well after looking all over, also going around the area where i live and asking, i had no luck. Its been 7 years since my minnie is gone, i never found out till this day what had happen to her, and i still wonder till this day, what happen to her. Its hard no ever knowing, when they run away.

Glad to hear that your dog trusts you that much to not want to run off even without his collar on. I know that when you have a Dog or Cat, etc. that is a pet that runs off from you, it can be a tragic thing for sure. We had some pet goats disappear when I was growing up and living in the country. By the time we found them it was too late, and it was tragic for sure.

WHen I had Reggie he got loose one day and didn't show up for four days! We were all sick. I spent alot of time in my car driving around looking for him. I was outside one day and he just came strolling down the street like nothing was wrong!
