on my response when we born the first word we speak mom or dad because they are a main in our life. we need their help in all place. they ancourage us when we don't feeling comfertable. in india there is a sentence "100 teacher = 1 dad" and "100 dad = 1 mom" what the other don't teach us that the parants teach. when i am feeling uncomfertable in work every time they encourage me. so..... mom & dad are very special in my life

It wasn't special, I never had my mom that much in my life, and I only had my dad until I was 5, I grew up with my grandmother and never saw my father and hardly ever saw my mother.

I must admit, I don't have a happy childhood because of my parents. They are always quarreling, got separated, came back, and were busy with so many stuff that makes our lives more miserable. Now that I am grown up and already have a family of my own, it is only my mom of whom I can lean on.

I love my parents. They are amazing people. They never hesitate to offer their help and when I need advice they are always there for me. My parents have been very supportive throughout my life, no matter what. They never judged me and they were always sure to support my efforts no matter what they were. To this day my parents are still and always will be an important part of my life. I would not be who I am today without them there in my life.

I hold a lot of grudge against both my mom and dad BUT it does not mean that I don’t love them. I understand and appreciate the fact that without them, I would not have been here venting my anger and frustration against them. While it is known that parent sacrifice so much for their kids, its only as a mother now, that I appreciate these gestures all the more. It seems I have only taken from them and never had the opportunity to give back as they both are very independent minded.

It's great to have mom and dad all through my growing years. They were the ones who guided me, cared for me, disciplined me and taught me the right from wrong. I've been blessed enough to have good parents who brought me up to be a good citizen. I know how it feels how to have parents who shows great love and affection not any other person could do. Mom and Dad alone could guide you to the right path, disciplines you to become a good person, take care of you when you are sick, who rejoices with you in time of victory, and consoles you in time of disappointments and a lot of good things only parents could offer. I thank God for my parents.

You have a strong point there. I grew up with my mom and dad as the only child and I loved it. And you can believe that I was spoiled rotten by my dad and my grandma, oh, and my aunt, which is my dad's only sister. I will always be grateful for their love and care throughout the years. I know I'm far from perfect and I have my faults, but no matter what went down, whether I did it or not, my parents were always on my side about whatever, even when everyone else walked away from me, or judged me. That's the love of having such wonderful parents. I thank God everyday for them, and they love my daughter the same way they love me, and can no one take that love away from us.

It was very important to have both my parents in my life. To this day it is important to have them in my life but my father passed away when i was 13 and I only have my mom in my life and other family members also.I think everyone should be grateful to have their parents in their lives.
