It is interesting that his supporters keep bring up the race issue. We are told that we are a racist country yet when I walk through a mall in almost any city in the US I see all types of couples. Even in my small community in rural America we have mixed couples of every kink. It is not something that seems to bother people and they don't notice it until some bean counter wants to know the racial break down. I was told when I moved here almost 20 years ago that the town was very divided because there were those from the northern part of the country and then there were those from the southern part and you know what they are like. They were talking about the Italians. Many of our race problems will go away if we stop focusing on it all the time and make it an issue.

Oh shut your cakehole ery. You bring race into EVERY discussion. I don't know if you're black or white. What I do know is that you have some intense hatred towards white people and you need to just get over it. You think everyone who fails to worship Obama is racist. If someone points out that Donna Brazil said stealing is ok because we have a black president, that person must be a racist too. I wish you could just drop your racist crap and join the rest of us in the 21st century.

This is my take on it all and YES I VOTED for President Ombama and I hope he does a wonderful job but any other time if you call a Black person Black you or called a racist but there was such a big deal made about him being the First Black President, that was what I was asking.YOU tell me one GOOD REASON why Black and White people in today's world Cant get along and I will tell You that THERE is MORE Black RACIST people than WHITE,WHY because some think they or owed something because of 100 years ago. WHY can't everyone just get over their hate and live together as GOD intented. You both have a wonderful night and I don't care if you or Black or White.

He is the president, period. Race should never have entered into it. But you'll have to go back to the campaign to see who brought it in there. . Did we call Bush the 43rd WHITE president? I don't think so.

I know they made alot of fuss over it and it cost 170 million for his Inaurgation, the most ever spent. I just hope he is worth it all and gets our economy back on track, but I think its going to take more than 4 years. I don't think race should have ever been brought into it. Thanks for your response and have a great night.

I personally do not think he will ever get the economy back on track the way they are going about it. I think they are amateurs at bat, period! That's what they've been talking about on the radio today. Things they are doing are just terrible!

yes it is amazing how when you talk about negatives saying a person is black is considered racist but to call a person black in a positive it is not...if a white person says they don't like a person who just happens to be black is often called racist, people don't take personality and other things in to consideration, I think people are way too sensitive about the race thing and people are walking on egg shells in fear they are going to be called racist....and of course there is the reverse racism but that is another story...I just wish people would forget about the colour, no one is perfect we all have faults and we all having feelings...

I can understand why it is exciting that a Black person has become president. I know I would have been excited if Gov. Romney won, both of us being Mormons (even though he wasn't my first choice). What I don't understand is why having a president who is Black automatically makes anyone who doesn't support him, racist. Prs. Nixon was our first president who was a Quaker, but I don't remember people equating disagreeing with him with hating Quakers. Prs. Carter was the only president who was submarine qualified in the Navy. I guess today's "logic" means that if I disagreed with Carter I don't like Submariners. To me it is just as racist to consider Obama a great man simply because he is Black as it would be to consider him a bum because he's Black.

I totally agree,we just have to keep hoping that he will do all he said he would and our economy begins to raise again,he does have a congress that are Democrat majarioty that will certainly help him do the things he wants, unlike Mr.Bush who had to fight them every step of the way. Thanks for responding and have a great night.

Actually color has everything to do with it. He is the most far left president America has had. He is pro abortion, pro same gender unions, more for homosexual rights and the reason he was elected was because people seemed to think that because he has part black in him, everything is going to be fine, the world will now enter a period of peace and prosperity. If he were not part black, then what people knew about him, even if he was a charismatic speaker, he would not have become president of the United States. When I consider the people who elected him and said that they love humanity, I am saddened. Love humanity then why hate the unborn? Maybe America will wake up, that just because a man is black or part black does not make him a demigod or a wonderful person, that they have flaws just as us horrible white people.

What people don't realize is that, depending on what Obama does or doesn't do during his administration could very well determine if there is ever another black President. No matter how unfair this might be, Obama's actions could dictate whether the American people will ever elect a President representative of a minority group again.

Now that he has been sworn in, he should simply be called President Barrack Obama and nothing more I don't care what color he is or isn't. All I care is to see what sort of a job the man can do and whether or not he can get this country out of the mess that it is in.
