I need health advice, if you're medically trained it would help:

I really don't mind who answers, if you know what I'm on about that's a good start. I pulled a muscle in my shoulder in October and since then my shoulder's been 'clicky' and 'cracky' every time I move it. My neck also feels 'clicky' and 'cracky'. If any of you can offer an explanation, I'd be grateful. (Please don't tell me to see a doctor, I DO NOT LIKE THEM!)

Don't see a doctor Dory. See a chiropractor instead! They are good at things like shoulders and necks. Otherwise, amputation at the shoulders usually cures most things! Worked for Charles 1!

A chiropractor seems the best way to go if I don't want a doctor. Oh, that took me a minute to figure out! I think I'd rather keep my head firmly attatched to my body thank you. :)

i am sorry to hear about your pain, The best remedy for you would be to give a massage to the muscle. Muscle surely needs rest for some days. But after that it needs to be exercised to rebuild it. you can look at some shoulder exercises. Move that muscle a bit. it will pain surely but eventually it will build new fibres and grow stronger. Also i may sound like a doctor but i am concerned about you thats why i would suggest that you should get an Xray done just to rule out fractures. Eat proteins and exercise , you will be fine.

Thank you. I'm a holistic therapy student, so I normally have a massage on a Monday as part of my course, I also have reflexology, but they don't seem to make it better for long. If it carries on, I'll HAVE to go to the doctors, I did think about having an x-ray to check I've not done anything terrible. Thank you for you comment to the person above too. :)

Have you been drinking lots of milk, or that thing where the girl says "it helps make your bones grow strongerer" even though it might not help much but bones keep regenerating themselves and calcium is very good to help them.It might be osteoperosis, or it might be old age :P

Could have possibly cause something to be misaligned...my advice would be to see a doctor, like them or not...a Prednisone taper and some PT or a visit to the chiropractor might make it right again.

Dude you cant advise a corticosteroid without examining the patient and knowing their medical history.
