Who has been your most unusual crush??

I know the subject of this discussion might not say it all. So read on, to understand what I mean to say.
We usually have a crush on people we work with, or study with, or our neighbours, or friends, or friend's friend, or friend's brother/sister.
These kind of crushes are usual, even filmstars are included in this usual category of crushes.
But have you ever had a crush on someone, below your standards, and you know that even talking about that person to someone else would be a "not so good" thing.
Like have you ever had a crush on your bus conductor, or your driver, or your servant, or a roadside shopkeeper, or your doctor's compounder etc.???
I know this is weird, but still it happens sometimes, that we get attracted to someone, we know that we won't ever be compatible with! We know the crush/ infatuation has no meaning, but still we can't manage to get over it.
It has happenned with me, and i am quite serious about it too. But no use, because I know, its a "wrong" thing.
What do you think, have you also had any such unusual crush?

I don't know what country you're from, but here, we're all created equal. There's no such thing as "below your standards". We're all just trying to make a living the best way we know how, and you shouldn't shun someone just because they're not in the same income bracket as you. You should love someone based on their personality, not their income.
But, to answer your question. I once had a crush on a guy I met on the internet. He was in a relationship, but I just really liked him for whatever reason. Nothing ever came of it of course, I never acted on my impulses, and the crush faded away. For me that would be the most unusual crush, because I didn't know enough about him, or even what he looked like before I started crushing on him.

Yes, that does count in unusual crushes.
Im from India. What i meant to say was, that the person on whom I have a crush, is not literate, and so obviously "not so rich" too...
Until, recent past, he too used to stare at me, when I was in his sight, but not now, because I think something is going on in his mind too, that he does not deserve me or something, and thus he tries hard to refrain himself from glaring at me. I wanted to know this from his point of view, that if, this "standard" difference is refraining him now? His ignorance, is making me grow more fonder! I cannot even approach him first, because he might not react properly, I am afraid, what is something goes wrong...
Helpless!!

This man can't help the sort of family or situation he was born into. His family obviously didn't have money so he couldn't get a good education, that's not something that should be held against him. He's a human being, just like the rest of us, and deserves to be treated as such. If you like him and think he likes you, do something. Love doesn't choose people based on intelligence or income or occupation.

Hello jakes9! I never have an unusual crush eversince I know the meaning of that crush. My father has many people working for him but I never got attracted to them. I mean I am not looking for a rich man but a man who won't reach my expectation and my standards is a "no" to me.

We think the same way too. I live my life trying to please my parents and reach the expectation they expect me to be.

Right..
That's exactly what I wanted to know, because I have the right to make decisions of my life, but I should consider my parents too. Because if I go against thier wishes, and go with a man who is below our standard, then it will be a shameful thing for me, that my parents name got spoilt in the soceity just because of me! I don't want my parents to feel "disgusted" !
