I am planning to buy an MSI wind notebook with Atom processor. Is it reliable?

I have my gateway laptop with a 17" wide screen and it seems very ok for me until this new release of MSI Notebook which has garnered market applause because of its tremendous features and suitability in today's trend. I am planning to buy this one because I am somehow always on the go and wants to be connected online to get in touch with my job and other friends. Have you used this one with maximized hardware specifications applicable?

I haven't used this one, but I can imagine that you would fine it very slow. I susect that the specs for your current laptop are pretty good - they usually are for 17" laptops. You wont get any specs even near what you are used to with the MSI wind. However if you are jusk looking for something to use for internet and mail then go ahead, it's a great machine - just don't exect it to run need for speed ;)

Yes I will be using this one for minimal applications only. I am planning to install windows XP into it and use still my gateway laptop. It's primary use will be internet surfing and some office applications with some graphics editing software if possible.

Hey, Honestly I don't really think that you should replace a big notebook with a small netbook. These smaller laptops should only accompany your bigger laptops, but don't rely on them as your sole computer.
