I'm really having a hard time having a good time management because in my experience it's not effective for me...because I'm not strictly following it, because I felt like my time is limited.
But now I realized that I'm always running out of time and cram eversince I was in school, And now that I'm already working, my problem with time is still not yet solved.
Do you really believe that having a good "time management" is of great help?
What tips would you like to share to discipline yourself in managing your time.

I think we live in a time where we all have too much to do to fit in a 24 hour a day schedule. I do not manage my time very well either. I end up spending so much time on the internet that my sleep or other chores suffer. I think it is a good idea, though, to allocate a certain period of time for each task you need to accomplish. Perhaps write down a schedule for yourself on paper. It may be helpful to use a timer, either a hand-held one or one you can download from the internet. I use a downloaded timer for my work. For instance, if I allocate a specific amount of time, say an hour, to the internet, then I must watch the timer or clock and stick to stopping when the timer or clock says that hour has passed. It is good to develop techniques of discipline and good time management. Otherwise, before you know it, time has passed and you have not accomplished anything.

I try my best to follow the time management techniques, however, it do not always work because of external factors. I can schedule my programmes and event but not of others. It is, therefore, sometimes my schdeduled tasks get delayed. I try to utilise my time to the extent possible. I check if I have 10 spare minutes with me, how best can I utilise it. If I can complet anything in those 10 minutes, I just go for it. While, in office if I find spare time, I make a some important calls during that time. I also try to do multi-tasking to save my time, for example, if I wish to enjoy music, I do it when I am getting ready for my office or say taking bath (donot laugh please). I believe that time saved is time earned, therefore, I try to dispose of all my pending work to get more spare time with me. I use alarm in my cell phone to get up early in the morning and to remind me of various tasks which I am supposed to do in a day. I believe 'time' is precious and it is not going to come back, therefore, I must take full advatage of it.
An excellent post
