They say that it is possible that earth might run out of water! If we try to think of this. . We will say that this is impossible. . If you are going to defend between the two. . What will you have to say? For me, this is really possible,we should try to analyze, the sun is a star, and it will explode and die like other stars. . As the sun getting older, the heat it realeses is more hotter than ever. With the ozone layer that has been damaged, the earth gets more warmer than ever resulting to drying up of ice and water! Thats what i thought!

It's possible. Even if we drink up the sea water, we will still run out of it. It's just a matter of time really. Maybe not in our generation. Maybe after hundreds or thousands of years.

Luckily, we will not experience that, so far, i think! Lol. . Salt water is not good for human. I forgot on how science explains that but i know its not good for drinking!

I mean after fresh water has ran out. We'll settle for sea water but only after too many process to take the salt out. If that's possible. **shrugs.

I agree that it is very possible. Even though the earth is made up of 70% water, only a little is freshwater which is drinkable. What with all this water pollution and global warming, eventually, all clean water will be contaminated and very limited. Then, comes the very serious problem....

Yeah, pollution is a more simplier reason on why we might run out of water!

We have exactly the same amount of water today that we did 1000 years ago and in another 1000 years we will still have the same amount. The problem is that we need more and more drinkable fresh water as the population of earth explodes. All water is recycled. It goes back into the earth and into the ocean and gets evaporated and comes down in the form of rain and snow. What we need to do is limit family size like they do in China, conserve fresh water, and develop more desalinization plants to meet the worlds demand for fresh water. Also the polar ice caps hold most of the worlds reserve of fresh water. If we could find a way to utilize them we could supply enough water for the whole world and then some.
