Have you found old classmates or other friends using any of the contact sites that are out there now?
I recently contacted someone for whom I was a nanny nearly forty years ago! It was amazing exchanging news again after so long ( we'd lost contact after moves and a divorce) Sites like classmates and friendreunited are fun Do you belong? have you found an old friend?

yeah i have got ahold of numorous people i have lost contact with on the internet. the day my daughter was being born at the hospital, a friend of mine contacted me on myspace. we were friends from about 5 years old till we were 18 and had lost touch once he moved. so that was really cool to finally be back in touch with him.

I joined myspace and facebook. Myspace didn't get me anyone really, but with facebook I found friends from elementary school and even a girl I was friends with when I was about three or four. It's really cool to be able to find your old friends and see what they are up to.

Facebook which I signed up with quite recently is brilliant for keeping in vague contact with a lot of people - which in my situation living in another country to my "home" It's great for the one liners when you can't manage a whole letter or email.

Yes. I signed up for one site and ended up being contacted by 3 of my old friends. Funny thing was...they were all ex-boyfriends. I haven't been contacted by any of my female friends. Ah well.
It is definitely neat to be able to catch up and reminisce a bit. Probably won't hear from the again. But the experience is still cool.
